Hi Guys,

Please let me knoow How I can turn off or reset the servicing warning message. Its annoying me. It says "Service in 10 days 1400kms" annoying the heck outta me.

im taking it you dont have a vag-com.. np... go to autozone ask to use there obd scanner for your car and clear it

 

is it a B5? (96-01) if so i think have the directions to clear it in my glove box

not sure how to do it on a b6 but you dont need a vag to do it on the b5 i would be surprised if you did on the b6. look in the manual

 

does the way in the audi manual turn off the thing that blinks oil under the mileage
if so put it up

 

How do you do it on a b5 without vagcom? cause damn, mines kinda annoying me now that i think about it

 

- Switch off ignition
- Press button 2 and switch on the ignition while keeping the button pressed. The display will now show "service OIL"
- Pull out button 1 and hold until the letters "service OIL" are cleared. The display will now show "service---".
- Press button 2 again to display "service INSP" and clear it the same way by pulling out button 1

(button 1 is the button on the left)
(button 2 is the button on the right)

 

Where can i buy a vag com??
