wheels or tires I think the widest you can go on your tires is a 235 maybe a 245 if you do not want to lower your car and without rolling the fenders and some people I have heard with 8.5" wheels

I have 235s on 8.5" wheels. I rubbed after dropping to race springs, but no rubbing with sport springs

I have 235's on 9" wheels and slammed, fenders sat on tires at first so I rolled, and slightly pulled (with a wooden bat), and trimmed out my fender liners. Looks exactly how I wanted

ive got 19" wheels ,235 tires on stock sport suspension. No rubbing at all, but don't know about that after dropping it

droo587 u got 235 tires but how wide are your wheels, and 8.5 seems to be the limit unless u got fender flares

i got 235s on 8.5 x 19s. no dramas yet but i havent lowered it..no way 245s would fit on the front as there is only a couple of mm gap betwen the tyre and shock atm. 245s might go on the back though

no but the rolling radius would be different which is very bad for quattro. You can fit 9" max under the front withough fender flares

u have to get the same type and size for the tires casue if u dont they will mess wit your AWD, u kno any one that has 9 in the front
