I agree. Screechingly bright these things are. I have an old set of Polk DB1000s still in the doors, and i honestly never bothered to hook 'em up after i got the Momos.

I have the non-Bose system, but i'll give the old tweetsa shot and see how the staging is. Thanks for the suggestion.

Let me know how they work out!

I don't get how companies think making them so bright is a good idea! My focals seriously HURT my ears.
The tweeters were causing pain way before the bass had a chance to bother me.

as long as the tweeters are facing you they are fine and with them in the heater vents in the dash with them wired in reverse politary work to because of the reflection of the wind sheild will bounce the sound in your heads direction being wired in reverse politaty may help them sound better because everytime sound bounces of something it changes it politary as long as all speakers are hitting your ears in the same politarty forward it work great but if the tweeters are hitting your ear in (-) politary and your door speakers are hitting your ears (+) it cancels either other out it is not aseasy tonoticed with highs but with lows it is. for example if you have to subs in your car hook one up backwards and see how it sounds it is kinda wierd you know it is hitting because you can see it but you can't really hear it. try sometime it is a little bit of a shock to your system.I was a certifacted installer for 5 year (at a shop) nowI just do jobsfor side money but i don't really do the big time custom jobs anymore so i have kinda forgot all the details.
