Yea a k04 will be a more reliable set up for a DD
ORIGINAL: ZedEx

If it's your daily driver, and you want it to still be somewhat reliable... Go with something simple, like a K04 upgrade... If you have a bit more money to spend, go with a GT2871R, more efficient power.

But this is an expensive car to modify, if you want to play, you're going to pay.

Jeff, I know you have an S-AFC to control your A/F Ratios... But what do you use to adjust timing? Because as we all know, the power's all in the timing.

I'm thinking of getting out of the Honda scene and buying a B5 with my "get out money" and doing a little Honda style BT on it. i.e Home Built LOG 304ss Manifold/Down Pipe/Intercooler/Injector Set up/etc

Do you know of any way to adjust Timing on our cars without the 034 Stand Alone EMS or a specific Chip?

i was talking to my audi mechanic and he used to have a 1.8t that he tuned and then he was telling me of some other guys....... he said it was pushin 500 hp! dont know why anyone would put all that time and money into a little 4 cylinder and not upgrade to an s4.
