Default I am going to cry!

Anyone know how much this would cost to repair??? It looks like it might be the clips on the sides but i dont know about the lower portion! There could be other damage that i havent seen yet! I remember the audi dealer wanted to charge me like 250 for one clip to fix my back bumper! would this be in access of 700? if so i might as well go with Rieger RS4.

my uncle took my car out this morning while i was sleeping and when i went out just now i noticed that my bumper wasnt looking right. It was not in the correct position nor was it strait. It was slanted down and mabye a quarter inch forward than where its supposed to be.

So i walk to the car and i got this feeling like someone just hit me in the chest with a bat. Now im not driving it till i figure out what to do. I will be driving the green 1996 dodge minivan with imporoved brakes and new tires [sm=happy046.gif] lol!!

Here are some pics. Its not a good sight to wake up to!

Ouch, that sucks. Hit your uncle up for the bucks to fix it, since he's obviously the one who did the damage.

If I were you, I'd take it to a couple of local body shops and see what they have to say. I seriously doubt it will be $700 to fix.

The bumper is totally shaky on one of the sides.

I also looked at the Heallight washer on the Left side and it seems to have shifted. Do you think that when the bumper shifted it could have damaged the washer???

damn, i hope nothing else is broke..

Have you spoken to your uncle about it? What actually happened?

Are the screws inside the wheel well still connected or was the bumped pulled out of them?

My Bro-in-law scraped the pole on the corner of our drive way once in my wifes 20th AE GTI, denies it to this day but the wood was still embedded in the bumber and he was the only one to have driven in in 2 days. Gotta love people and their respect for other peoples stuff huh?.

LOL! dude calm down heres what happend. On your bumper there are c-notch clips that hold it in. All it did was slide out. On the top of the bumper, right where your bumper meets the fender, look in it. youll see where it connects. Reposition both sides, (get someone to help you) and reposition it. Now, the top one is in, about half way down the bumper, press firmly on the bumper straight in towards your engine. you should hear a clipping noise. Do this on both sides. should be all clipped in by now. Make sure your bolts in the front , where your foglights are , that they are tight. You should be fine now, the same thing happened to me and took me about 4 hrs to figure it all out. Hope this helps
