Default I can't believe it's taking this long...

I ordered wheels from a neighborhood wheel and tire place. I ordered a set of 19" x 8 Iforged Equip RS high polish wheels back in late January. Now I know these wheels need time to be made because of their two piece design. However, 19 X 8 is a relatively common size compared to 19x11 or 19x12. Any advice or ideas to why it's taking so long. What should I do about this?

My knowledge on the subject of wheels making comes from watching those guys on American Choppers, etc, putting a "blank" into a CNC machine and pressing the "cut now" button and it doesn't seem to take that long.

I wouldn't buy a wheel from anyone unless they could put them on the same day.

but he explained to me that the wheels have forged centers and that the wheel might have to be assembled. But I still don't know why its taking so long.

^^^ i really wouldnt buy wheels online, just cuz if anything went wrong, your stuck with sending them to h*ll knows where and what not. I'd pony up the few extra dollars and get a nice tuning shop to do it, that way you might even get some small perks like free changeovers or somethin'. and yes, 2 months is way too long to wait. It took a month for mine to come direct from manufacturer as well as being custom drilled. u just gotta hound those people.

I heard iForged can be pretty sketchy... sketchy as in unreliable people to deal with. I bought my wheels used... but I've heard some horror stories about iForged customer service...

I totally agree. I would stay away from online unless its really reputable. There's about 3 or4 people I know who have ordered there wheels from this place. I've been callin the guy every day for the past week. It's really starting to get on my nerves. Thanks for the advice everybody.
