I Could KILL!!!!
i could kill who ever owned my car before me!!!
they didn't take care of it in the least bit, it is so frustrating,
i took my car in today for the t-belt job and heres what they found.
the lines running of the oil cooler are all leaking (coolant and oil)
multiple boost leaks and vaccume line leaks
throttle body is "the dirtyest thing he has ever seen, he is surprised it made it to the shop"
the left rear and right front wheel bearing are junk.
and of course the t-belt
all of this is costing $2500
but at least i'll have a fresh machine after this.

might as well have all the wheel bearings changed..... if 2 are bad the others probably aren't good... and probably not much more money....... if you are going to pay someone to work on your car that is
Not everyone cares about their cars as much as us. They buy them new and run em till they are sick of them, not doing any preventive maintenance. Then they buy a new one. I bought my car with 44k on it care look good no leaking ect...ect. 4 days later the engine and turbo blow cuz of sludge. you can't see that ****. But you could have seen leaking. At least i got it fixed for free. So now i am the only one who does maintenance on it now. and it runs great, well except for when problems arise but i always fix them right then. next time take it to a mechanic beforeyou buy it.
p.s. **** happens
p.s. **** happens
the leaking could not be seen, it wasent gushing out, and at no time was any puddle underneath the car, the car ran great when i picked it up the problems started to occur about a week later. the car was bought as-is, so yea sh*t happens, all i can do is fix it and smile.
my maf went out 2 weeks after i got it........ but it might have been cause i put in a k&n drop in..... i had no clue about audi turbo cars.... i came from no replacement for displacement..... blah on that
boost is the best
boost is the best
I do all my own stunts when it comes to repair so cost isn't as much, but it still blows to put money into something you just bought. You'll feel good about the car once it's back on the road repaired though. I know I always felt like if I had it fixed, at least I KNOW it's been fixed.
