well, i finally gutted my cat and used the no CEL on the diy. For the time it takes and no money other than spark plug foulers, new exhaust gaskets, and lots of liquid wrench, it is so worth it. Doesnt really make the car louder but it makes it sound so good. Very deep tone to it. I am very pleased!

lol its not that hard, first you gotta catch the lil sob then knock it up side the head with something hard, then your gunna need a really sharp knife.... oh wait.... um you need to get the cat out and then you will see and the lil **** inside it then take a long hard pokey think and break it all out till there isnt any of that **** left then re install

 

yeah, like badluck said. take it out and beat the Sh*t out of the "stuff" inside. I rinsed mine off afterwords so it would be extra clean, aka no dust. Pretty simple and the results are sooo worth it. Badluckaudi, the dp bolts are a pain in the arss. I had to run to the auto parts store during the middle of it and get some penitrating lube to break them free, expecially the one closest to the passenger fender.
