I'm not stressing the Audi... I'm stressing my Civic getting stolen, which is why I don't even keep it at my house, I keep it at an undisclosed storage facility when I'm not driving it. With all kinds of theft deterants set. The car is basically unstealable unless you know where my kill switches are, bring an ECU, and be lucky enough that the ECU you bring is tuned the same as mine (Otherwise it will not run over 2,000RPM), know which sensors are taken off, have the correct steering wheel to connect, and you better be Damn good at picking Masterlocks... Because there are 4 chaining my car to the floor.

Those are only the obvious things... There are a handfull of other methods and devices keeping the car immobile.

Try and steal my Type-R... See where it gets you, hahahaha.

Masterlocks aren't hard to pick... but anyway, ever consider moving?

Oh Wilmington's not a bad town... Crime's not TOO bad... But I'm not risking having my money pit stolen, and getting $1,000 in insurance money for it, you know what I mean? I'd rather take measures to prevent it from being stolen, no matter how insane they may seem. Haha

You better go knock on wood dude...[&:]

My SI had a pretty comparible security setup, although the steering wheel was there, and it was'nt chained up to the curb outside my place...

They still got it tho... Honda thiefs will get ANYTHING they want bad enough. Hell, I'm sure you know a grip of people with the same story as me... You're lucky to have a nice place to keep yours, mine was a daily driver.[]

Nate

PS: SORRY for double posting... My bad

all those protective measures on your car...what if some thugs cut the chains, roll your car onto a truck and drive off....they might not be able to do much with it once they have it in terms of driving it...but you wont have it either.

Why not just give it proper insurance coverage? Get it appraised, etc.
