I dropped a pen in my dashboard and it went behind the dash somehow...
 

a plastic pen fell behind my dashboard(in the area closest to the windshield. I cant see it.. Im really worried it went somewhere into the engine or electronics wiring... Ive gotta get it out before the engine heat and summer temperatures get to the pen... anyone have any Ideas on getting it out?

Nothing short of taking the dash out. I don't think you have anythign to worry about.

definetly not going to get into the engine compartment don't worry about that but it might rattle and become annoying

ok what if the plastic pen... in short was a ciggarette? yeah i know I lied.. just didnt want to offend anyone that occasionally I have a smoke in my car...

however that happened.... I wouldn't be worried if I were you... cept for the smell....

By the way, I always smoke in my car. I even use the ashtray... as an ashtray!!!! :D:D
I keep my car very clean (interior at least).
If you keep the air flowing out all the time, and keep the cig near a cracked window and blow out, smell will not stick to your car. Most people don't even know I smoke in the car from the smell, even with the ashtray open, and my car doesn't WREAK like air freshners or anything....

but besides all that... it's your car, why would anyone take offense to you smoking in it???
babying a car is one thing... but it's still your car....
