I was working, making deliveries. Back at the store I parked in the lot, went inside to get my next delivery and then came out. I was driving around for a while and then went back to the store. I walked behind the car instead of infront of it for some reason and then out of the corner of my eye I saw something. The right corner of my rear bumper completely crushed in!!!!! I flipped a ****. I havent even had the car for 6 days yet. Some scumbag must have clipped me when my car was in the back. Must have been some ditzy blonde coming out of the hair salon next door. They probably saw those 4 rings on the trunk and said "Oh thats gonna be expensive" and took off. Now this is a perfect reason to my a body kit.....or should I just replace the stock bumper?

 

i got hit yesterday too i was driving my 99 and an illeagal pulled out in front of me i had my car for about 2 weeks and it was in the shop for a week

 

I know how u feel man. This sucks so much. The seems so ugly to me because of this damn bumper now.lol That is the only flaw.

I was actually checking out out this morning after doing a search. Do you know what is invloved in taking the rear bumper off. Is it something I can do myself without a lift?

 

W/O a lift makes everything harder. just get a "hijack" jeep lift amd some 4' jack stands

It should be quite strait forward. look for bolts and start turning

 

The bolts aren't in an obvious place.
