I knew I'd think of a question.

I knew I'd think of a question.
What is Dynamic Headlight Range Control? And why is my warning light on for it and the manual tells me nothing. Why do I have defective crap.
My tabs on the headlights are broken, but other than that, they turn on and work.

RE: I knew I'd think of a question.
Dynamic range control continuously and automatically maintains the correct settings of Xenon headlights or Xenon plus headlights. The control system handles static changes (load and load distribution) as well as the dynamic effects of acceleration and braking. Advantage: the light-dark boundary of the light distribution remains virtually constant. This helps to ensure good visibility and helps prevent the blinding of oncoming traffic.
That's my answer, but how do I fix it?

damn dude, i wish i could help you out here...looks like you might be on your own on this one. i've never even heard of dynamic headlight range control...if the tabs are broken, do your headlights bounce at all? since dhrc involves movement (like accel/decel movements), a bouncing headlight would probably set off a warning of some kind
