Default I raced a Lamborghini in my A4!

I was driving down a long stretch of road on my way to Memorial Park tonight. I realized the car that came up behind me was a Lamborghini. As he pulled nonchalantly into the lane next to me, I floored it....in response, he tickled the accelerator with his little toe, and he was GONE!!! [sm=groupwave.gif]

Literally...he shot way ahead of me, rounded a corner, and by the time I rounded the corner he was nowhere to be found. Not at light, not in a parking lot, not turning a corner...just plain gone.

Actually, it was a little unfair cause we started at around 30mph. I would have had more of a shot out of the starting gate thanks to quattro and low-end torque, but oh well...I bet I get better gas mileage!

I think it was this one:

or one like it. I Googled "Houston orange lamborghini" ... how many can there be? If this is the model it's a Gallardo.

No actually nothing you wouldve done would have made a difference. not even if he let you go 2 minutes before he went off.

sorry to burst the "i couldve" bubble.

A lambo produces more "low end torque" sitting in agarage than an A4 with BTdoes at 4k rpmspushing 30 psi.

Yeah its kinda like racing an RS4 in a 91 escort. Anyone seen the Smart cars around? I see them all over the place when I'm in europe, buthere in Baltimore and one pulled up next to me the other day. Looks even smaller when its sittin in traffic. I'm just waiting for an accident between that and an Expedition, won't be pretty.

I saw a crash test video of those smart cars, and it held up pretty well around the passenger compartment, however damn near everything outside of it was destroyed.
