I think I have a boost leak.. Help anyone? Symptoms?

for the guy doing this on the side foryou hes still chargin you alot. The dealer by me charged 75 for an oil change, not an hours worth of labor! Also, is it the "whole" tank that needs replacing or just the fluid? Just for the coolant change, a hose change and a simple misfire check would be a complete RIP-off.
The guy is an Audi Mechanic at our Audi dealership here. (Pacific Audi)


Naw, our dealer here charges $129 for an oil change.

Labor at the dealer is also $145 an hour.

And yes, the whole tank is going to be replaced.

The hose change is the vacuum hose I believe.

And it's not just a misfire check, he said he's 99.5% sure he knows what the problem is, and he's going to get the parts for it too from work.

Everything is $320 for the labor & parts (coolant tank + fluid, vacuum hose, and whatever it is thats going to fix the misfires).

you said the coolant leak was in the hose.... vaccuum hoses dont carry fluid. Maybe I just misunderstood you or you misexplained.
