I think my car broke. Help! (pics inside)
like everyone else said, your MIL light is on, most likely an emmisions thing, but i would carefully drive it to the nearest service center and have the codes pulled to see whats wrong
Sounds like what happened to me when my ICM popped. All of a sudden, blinking CEL, shaking/vibrating idle, weird (three-cylinder because of misfire) exhaust note. I drove it to the mechanic 8 miles away, being careful the whole time. I'd check that. I think someone found the HUCO ICM on ebay for like 80 bucks.

Dear Fallout,
not to sound like an ***, but it is clear that you do not have the basic knowledge to work on your car.
Your best bet is to have it flatbedded to a Euro-mechanic who specialized in Audi or VW and have him fix the problem.
Blinking CEL or MIL is not an emissions problem. If it is blinking don't drive it or engine damage could occur.

Dear Fallout,
After you solve this issue, I would suggest that your invest in a manual for your car. You can likely buy one used on ebay. Once you buy it, read it. It will save you lots of money in the long run, by telling you how your car operates, what the warning lights mean, and what basic maintenance needs to be done on your car to keep it running

btw, your audi looks really nice, were did you get that body kit at?
As was mentioned earlier:
Steady CEL = a problem exists, but the car may be driven.
Flashing CEL = a serious problem exists, and continuing to drive will damage something.
The most common cause of a flashing CEL is indeed misfire in one cylinder, and this is consistent with your rough engine operation. If you are not getting a spark in one of the cylinders, you risk contaminating your catalytic converter ($$$) and your engine oil.
Pop the plastic valve cover and make sure all four coilpacks are properly seated. A loose spark plug can cause one to pop up.
