Default i trust A4 people

Well got loads of advice for my A4 on this forum and it has turned out really nice so time to pick your brains lol :-D My mate wants to lower his A3 on coilovers and because i know alot of you do it yourself on your A4's i was wondering if anyone could tell us any major problems that we could come across, and basic hints and tips or is it totally different and i have to go the A3 forum where i trust no one!!!!

the pinch bolt on the front suspension can be a bitch. cote all the bolts with pb blaster a few days before you plan on lowering it to make sure the bolts wont stick

O i changed edited the subject for spelling... Unless you really do "tust" people, and thats some sort of word from another language i dont know...

Depending on how much he lowers it, there may be longterm consequences. Lowering the car changes the suspension geometry and puts more strain on the suspension and wheel bearings.

the pinch bolt on the front suspension can be a bitch. cote all the bolts with pb blaster a few days before you plan on lowering it to make sure the bolts wont stick

Its an A3 how old could it be. unless you driving in salty conditions during the winter. everything should come apart nicely.

lol you could go sign up as another user and come on ranting about the BOV that works insanely well on your new A4, the you can come back and tell them nicely and moderate all the flaming that would happen lol

True, but also I don't know If the A3 even has the devel bolt. I mean, the VW's that iv worked on don't.
