i want mods!!!!!
50 bucks an hour is NOTHING! i wish i could find a mechanic for that much....cheapest you'll find in norcal for a half-decent mechanic is 75/hr. most of us here on the forums encourage doing mods yourself, as it is WAAAY cheaper, and not very difficult in most situations. not to mention it's LOADS of fun!
a snub mount would be a good first mod for you, greedspeed.com sells one for 13 bucks. install takes anywhere from a half hour to 2 hours, depending on your experience level. you can modify your stock airbox for better airflow, that's free. add a k&n to that for 40 bucks and you've got an excellent intake setup. debadging is free. there are others but that's all i can think of right now. search the forums, you'll find all kinds of cheap mods to do.

well im talking about go fast mods. like exhaust, chip, dv valve, and the show mods like rims. at the rate of what i make, which is 20 bucks a week, i will have these mods, NEVER. and btw, i heard its not a good idea to get an intake because it just sucks up hot air from the engine bay. i was planning on the evoms one. is this true?
he was talking about just replacing your airfilter with a kna one. as far as sucking up hot air from the engine bay goes, this will happens on a short ram air intake, but u can get a heat sheild which may or may not help. But dont do intake it does no good, all audi air boxes are free flowing enough
I think what Juice meant to say was: "Thank you for taking the time to respond to my request. In addition to your excellent cost saving ideas, I am also interested it mods to go faster and look better. Again, Thank you!"
That is of course, what he/she should have said...............

Juice... How the hell are you rolling a 01' Audi if all you pull in is 20 bucks a week?! And if that's all you make, then DIY's are the only way you can go. bentframe's got it right though, doing the mods yourself is fun and they add a whole other level of pride in your car....
