"Radiant Silver METALLIC" from duplicolor is the nearest, not perfect, match to the factory paint,

All the stores I've been to that carry dupli-color spray cans have them organized in manufacturers though. Even on their website I can't find that paint color listed. When you go to the store to get that paint do the stores in the US just have all the colours organized and have names for each one? Whats the picture on the can? (does it say like SUV/truck paint with a car on the side?) All that the cans say for color is that the cap colour matches contents or whatever, which it doesn't and pisses me off.

hey man when you get the paint, make sure that you sand the front lowers a LOT, especially if you have used any sort or shining product on the plastic. the paint will start to chip if its not adheried completely and make sure each coat dries fully. I repainted my stock bumper on an older acura the same way described here but the first time around it chipped a little and i had to re paint the whole thing over.
*noted* did you use any clear coats or did you just do a bunch of color coats? I'm thinking I might do a bunch of color/base coats then only do 1 or 2 clear coats, and see how that works.
I used 3 to 4 coats primer enough to cover well 4 or 5 coats paint and 2or3 coats of clear.*Note duplicolor primer only should be used with duplicolor paint its a good combo a really has to be use together because it adhears to itself. If you where to use audi paint over the duplicolor primer it would blend/soak into the paint and come out like crap.* So make sure you use all duplicolor products and it will come out well.Sand down the front lip and use the filler primer and litly dry sand it and you'll be able to fill the pores in the plastic GOOD LUCK!!!
try and find an adhesion promoter for painting plastic for the first coat over the plastic. I found pics of my finished bumper from my 91 integra (first car) when i upgraded to the 1992 years bumper. the one on the right.
