Am I better off staying with AWD or going to RWD? Should I go diesel or atleast find a larger motor to replace the 2.8l? Is auto better than standard on a road track?

if u get an audi get awd, but with awd u will go threw tires quickly i think. get a standard. and stick with the 1.8 and get a BT or get an s4 and get 2 BT

 

what kind of race car are you talking about drag car or track car ?

 

The only race I would buy an Audi for is a rally. Audi's are heavy, man. If you want a race car (as opposed to a luxury sport sedan) go buy something else to start with... You can make an audi fast, but the cost to performance ratio is far lagging behind other, less expensive cars, and you will always be heavier.

to build a audi race car u would have to no a hell of alot about cars.... or and extremly deep pocket book. on second thought u would have to have both, regaurdless.

 

Just take the engine out and put two jet engines in it. That should help.
