I have an audi a4 1.8tQ and one day out of nowhere the key was hard to put into the ignition and when i turned the key to turn on the car it was supposed to spring back but it just stayed there and the starter just kept ticking is there something i can do instead purchaseing and if i do what do i need to buy thanks

 

Probably your ignition lock cylinder is toast. I think there was a recall on these....
