Default I'm at 58000 miles...

...on 03 A4, you guys think its time for the new timing belt? I read in the manual that it should be good until around 100,000.

Oh yea my piece is chipped now and I put in a K&N air filter.[8D]

Oh that's cool, when should I start to think about changing it? I hope I can wait until the 08 version comes out...so I can replace my car with it.

the manual says 105k miles is the reccomended change time. I would wait for at least another 30k miles.

Yeah, I was going to say around 90k is when you should be shopping around.

Sweet, I'm definetly in the clear until I pick up my new baby in 08 or 09. I can't wait...that new model looks so sexy.

The only reason I was asking is because I've seen some people talk about replacing it at 60K, that was probably for a diff year model.

The older B5s need to be changed before the later B5s, but to change the timing belt at 60k is a bit soon.
