Ok, i am intalling an evoms intake on my car, i almost have the whole thing done....

1) does anyone know how to take off the neck on the turbo breather hose???? the smaller extra filter....

2) does anyone know how to get the bolts connected on the heat sheild????

Really could use some pics to help you out............otherwise, we have no idea what you are talking about. The neck should be a clamp....loosen it and pull off......the bolts should go straight in.....see how useless this is without pics.....sorry.......post some pics and we can help.

i'm about ready just to cut off the angle piece.... anyone know if this would be a good idea????

you can notice the black gromet at the frame rail and the hole on the heat shield... how i am i supposed to bolt up a bolt through the frame rail????

it took some glue and cutting to make it work but thats what i did.

 

nope.... i already have the filter... i just want to know how to get that angle piece off and then i'm done w/the install, i've decided not to install the bolts on the heat shield

 

The bolts go through those holes on the bottom of the healt shield and the bolts go into the rubber holes that is mounted on the car. They just sit in the holes, this keeps your intake from moving around.
