ok, we'll see. How expensive would it be for me to just buy them? where would i buy them? is it just the lense piece and light that i would need to buy or the entire headlight?

sneaky, what year is this 1.8t? if those are two-piece headlights, then that's a different story. with the two-piece headlights you can remove the corners and replace them for about 25-30 bucks. the stock corners you should be able to find anywhere, new or used. check out yours when you get it and let me know what you have.

10000 is not a great deal..not sure whey you are flying to arizona to buy the car. Look around locally, spend a couple extra grand and get a 2001 b5. 2001 has more HP and better interior features.

I bought a 01 1.8T with 48000 miles for 11500 in Dallas, Texas.

Love the car.

the picture sort of looks like you have the two-piece ones. what year is this car? the one-piece headlights started in 99, so you have a 97-98, you have the two-piece.

its a 99. so is my brothers, but he has the orange on the side even though his is a one piece. Would i need an entire new headlight or could i swap out the little piece for an amber one?

I wish i could find one like that, but i live in idaho, and all th audis i have found that were 99's were about 12,000. 2001's are even more. it kinda sucks.

you can replace just the amber lens, but there's a pretty good amount of work involved. you have to heat up your headlights, remove the outer lens from the housing, pop in a new amber insert (may have to be glued in, not sure about that part), and then reseal the headlights with silicon. there's probably more than one way to screw up, i'd recommend swapping the whole thing out.
