Default Increasing horse power?

I have currently chipped my 1999 A4 1.8T with the TAP1 stage 1 chip taking the horser power to ~190. I'd like to get the car up to 225hp or so. What are the best/safest mods for increasing horse power on this year A4?

you could probably find a good intake for taht car for less than 500 and exhaust for about 1k, that might put you pretty close to 225, if you're willing to spend more then listen to the dude about the ko4 i dont really know too much about those.

Thanks for the replies... What recommendations would you have for intake/exhaust mods?

For the 99 most people seems to have Borla, Miltek exhausts from what I have seen. I ended up going Borla and love it.

Theres no way that an intake and exhaust would give you 35 hp. More like 10-12 max. The intake is pretty weak Ita just a sound thats it. Maybe a couple if that. And you figure a full exhaust like 8-10hp, no more.
