EVOMS has a big injector file for the B5. We have been down this road before. Thay say they do you guys say no one does.
Whats the file called? Who actually has it? I know weve been down this road before. Trust me, if there were a big injector file for a b5 w/a ko3, people would be talking about it not only here, but in other forums. The b5 is the most popular chasis to mod and people would be doing it... Whos doing it? Show me ONE person in all the audi enthusist web sites that has a big injector file that has a B5 with a stock k03 turbo... Usingbig injectors with aK04 on a B5 is another story and i have a feeling whoever is feeding you this info thinks either you have a k04, or that k04's come stock on the A4 like it does with the TT.
Dave-the ecu is not as smart as you think it is... Its not going to remap your fuel trim, air, and timing just because there is more fuel being dumped in. It will adapt minimalyuntil a set parameter is exceeded and then it will throw a CEL. You will foul up your spark plugs, clogg your catalytic converter, get poor mpg, among other longer term side affects. Just because you put big injectors in does not mean the ecu is going to adjust the "F-A-M" in a way that is beneficial. The ecu recognizes when it is aked to over adapt or over compensate for one of the key elements that makes for a good combustion, and that is when a CEL pops up, fault codes are stored, or you go into limp mode...
