Yeah, I just remembered something. They told me it could take an entire tank of gas for everything in your car to get used to the new chip. Maybe it will get better as time goes on!!! IDK

Josh
Yup I am expecting it to get even better, especially once I get a better DV and probably a K&N to help her breathe!

Here is my 0-60 video taken before i put my test pipe on for comparison:
http://media.putfile.com/00-A4-18t-
(we both have tip, so its a pretty fair comparison)

Actually my 40-60 time seems a little faster, that could be because of the exhaust?
But there is really no point in comparing videos, the dyno sheet tells all.. Ill hopefully get dyno'd within the next couple months with arif and ill post it up. You should do the same.

But crap, i have front trac so nevermind.. wouldnt be fair.

Yeah you have FWD though, you have a little extra edge.

For 0-60 you just left it in auto mode right? Did you have any other mods like K&N or exhaust. I am BONE stock besides the chip.

Oh I can't get your vid to work... [&:]

Ya i forgot about being front tracc... i block it out as much as possible [:-]
yea i left it in auto mode for 0-60. I all the mods except the test pipe when i took that video. The difference ak&n pannel filter and n75h make wouldnt be able to really be noticed in a video. Maybe on a dyno sheet though.

How come you stayed in auto mode? You don't use the trip tronic? Do your guys's cars have the bottons on the steering wheel to shift?

If youre taking it to redline, it will shift automatically anyway in tip mode. Yes i have the buttons. I use tip mode most of the time for city driving/cruising, but if im going to be taking it to redline from a stop through every gear, there is no point. Plus i feel that it shifts faster when going into 2nd at redline in auto mode. Tip is always a little laggy, but for city driving like if you want to hold 3rd gear at 40mph for good power, you dont have to mash the gas to get it to downshift like in full auto mode. Becasue at 40 mph in full auto mode you will be in 4th gear if not 5th.

I do use tiptronic, I think in a situation like this though when flooring it, the auto will be more efficient than you because it will shift right at redline every time.

Obviously the FWD will launch quicker but, Quattro PWNS FWD, straight and simple. I wouldn't give up this handling for anything!
