INMtion chip ECU on ebay worth it???
I say go for it if its cheaper and can put down the power why not a lot of good companies out there are not big name companies and smaller tuner shops usually put more attention to detail then a larger one
I have emailed the seller. Depending on the response...how he answers my questions and my overall gut feeling I will probably bid. I am impressed with the chip manufacturer, now I need to be impressed with the ebay seller and the condition of the item. I appreciate everyones opinion. I would like to have a GIAC, but I have trouble passing up good deals... if this is one??? If anyone has any first hand INMotion knowledge good or bad, and reasons to support...please let me know.
Thanks.
Thanks.
well i would be carefull becuase if something goes wrong, then where are you? at least with a large company like apr they could help you out. with this guy he could leave you stranded. not saying he will but just make sure you really want to trust your car to some ebay tuner.
I would have my stock ECU as a backup. Any danger of a faulty ECU causing permanent damage to electrical system???? This would be my main concern. The way I see it is..., If I win the auction (for a reasonable price) and it is not what I want i can just put me stock ECU back in. No big deal, but my loss.
Could you explain to me how this is an auction for a "resistor" not a tuned ECU? I read the description and saw nothing about it being a resistor. If there is some hidden termnology please explain.
Thank oyu.
Thank oyu.

Seems to be a low budget tuning company.. they only have a 10 day money back gaurentee...
Looks kinda interesting though, id like to hear about someone's actual experience with it though.
Seems to be more legit than what i initally thought.

So, I emailed INTuning and sent them the ebay link asking them if it was compatable with my car and I got a response today asking about my # on my ECU. I was supprised to even get a response from INTuning, considering I am not a potiental coustomer. Anyway my ECU # is one digit and letter different from the ebay ECU. I sent it to them and hopefully will get a response tomorrow. It might not even be compatable. I also asked about different octane level settings and how I would be able to tell what this one is. Right about now I'm not 100% sure of any of this, I don't mind loosing a few $$ and taking a little risk, but I don't want to dammage anythng on my car.
