I'm wondering if anyone knows the answer to this question:

I'm trying to see if a 2000 s4 instrument cluster is compatible with a 98 a4 2.8?
I need a new cluster and that's the only one available to me right now.

any knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

 

Well, it is compatible, but its not a direct connect, the connecting harnesses are different. And the s4 has a lot more wires going to its cluster. But it is doable.
