Default Insurance Cost.

I own a 02 3.0 6speed Quat. And my insurance is roughly 830$ every six months from alstate. I have no tickets accidents etc. Is this high or should I be switching companies. If so who do you recommend.

depends on age. (i.e. im 18 so i would pay more than you would) also what kinda of coverage do you have. Full coverage, collision? I pay $3000 every 6 months but thats AAA with full coverage on an 04 S4.

830 every six months isn't too much. You can always shop around for a better price but that isn't too bad.

Age has its benefits.

43, Brand new A4, 800 bucks per year from Travelers of New Jersey for max allowable coverage.

I just turned 25 and mine dropped by almost 40 percent. When you get married, the drop is crazy. It's almost free! LOL. Not really.

The lien doesn't make a difference. The only reason the lien on the vehicle would make a difference is if the lien holder requires you to have certain coverages, which most of them do. Your rates should have definately dropped when you turned 25. If they didn't, you should contact your insurance carrier. If you have no tickets or accidents, including not at fault accidents, your rates should continue to drop.

I pay $950/year for my 99 A4, I am 28. I used to pay ~1450/year, but when I moved to MA a few months ago, it dropped by 500, due to a clean 6 year driving history. I have full coverage ($500 deductible for collision).
