Default intake

I know we have talked about this alot, but alot of people say all they do is make it sound differnet, is there any hp gain?

nope, not on the 1.8 there isnt. The audi's stock airbox is very efficient. K&N's and other filter's dont add any HP either.

k&n's have also been know to mess up the mass air flow meters to much oil and it will clog up the screen there is a $90 filter that can mess up a $500 part cdn

I recently fitted this BMC induction kit to my 2.8 and it made a lot of difference.

I take it your in the US so I will give you the main link BMC.

You will also need a top hat converter ( adapter for the maf) from Demon Tweeks although you can screw it direct to the MAF. email me if you are deffentley gone get one and I will email you the part no and link for the Top hat.
