Default Intake Question

Hi everyone,

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I recently purchased an 03 A4 1.8T and the person who had it before installed the Evo intake system for our cars. however I have a hard time taking off the filter when I had to replace the passenger side headlight bulb. i was wondering if anyone had the same intake and has pictures of it so that I can see the clearence on your car. I would really appreciate it.

Thanks

Just remove what you need to to get to the headlamp.

I dont have one, but EVOMS is close to finishing their v-flow for our cars. It is supposed to fit better and give a little bit of a better gain over the regular high flow intake. I check on it about once a week, they are just trying to fabricate a good MAF adapter and their done and ready for mass fabrication and sale. I have seen the prototypes and they are pretty nice.

I'll ask him I'm assuming more than the high flow. Probably the same as teh B6 and B7 v-flow but I'll ask.

nope not at all. three torx screws and the assembly will pop out. i take mine out all the time to mess with my HIDs its easier to pop it out then to remove the intake and stuff and squeeze you hand back there with the very sensitive bulbs...
