Hello again!

Got a 2.8 A4 Quattro. Thinking about a supercharger... should I also get an intercooler system along with it, or is it even necessary? Also, what will new coilovers do for my car that my stocked shocks can't? Ya'lls help is greatly appreciated.

The current G2 or the old G1 supercharger kit for the 30v 2.8 dose not have an IC and runs fine without one.

A couple of guys with G1 have custom made IC for there cars. Some of us G2's are trying to get a company to make an IC for our G2's but have met with some problems with clearance under the hood.

Yes an intercooler system would be highly beneficial in conjunction with a supercharger. Thats why high end superchargers come with intercoolers. if you get a roots type or twin-screw type supercharger(like the one docurley has) then you have an intercooler built into the supercharger. if you get a centrifugal supercharger than you woul.d have to build an exterior intercooler (like the ones you would see on a turbocharged car.)

 

CoilOvers let you adjust you ride hieght along with being more durable and making your car handle better
