PrecisionFMIC (apparenty uses Garrett core), PROBABLY fits under standard bumper - its 3.5" thick.

NEW KIT!
http://www.evolutionracewerks.com/
Generally needs aftermarket bumper.
Goodkit to use if don't want to hack bumper-it uses a thinner, wider core
http://www.racetec-us.com/
Well known FMIC kit.

Ilike this kit, looks OEM, again no hacking required!

Kit, not very tall but probably thick and placed in best airflow, again good if don't want to hack.

If you want to go STEALTH I respect Tyrolsport with their fat SMIC.

The Godspeed FMIC kitcomes in two sizes, here's a link to a sitefor A4 B5, installing the larger Godspeed (eBay) intercooler; Note; the core (density)likely not as good as brands like Garrett. I'm not sure yet but seems there is two different Godspeed IC's for the larger upgrade core?; the PHOTO on the Godspeed website (L type - which I assume is used as 'the upgrade') might avoid some cutting of the bumper support? - See in/outlet positions with kit. The one on ebay does require hacking to fit, mainly due to its thickness - over 2inches.

Also a Autobahn888 FMIC kit is available (spelling might be wrong)
dont know much about it.
Forge also make a SMIC, don't know how good it is.
Boost factory also make a SMIC, don't know how good it is.
DIY $150, for those who like to really get $ worth!

There's more IC kits I less desire;
I wouldnot use this one for aSTREET CARas it'snot a BAR & PLATE and airflow is a bit limited through standard front bumper. Bar and plate is good for heatsink capacity.

Greddy- not bar and plate.
APR- recommend fitting aftermarket bumper (not for me).
There was another brand that made SMIC but they had build quality issues (leaks) when I read about them.[/align]
