intercooler piping stay on!
i just hooked up my frontmount and it seems like no matter how hard i tighten the hose clamps the intercooler piping wont stay on at max boost wich is around 17-18. i had the piping bent and put it together myself and it fits great but its not enough to withstand the boost. i was thinking maybe some sort of adhesive just to make sure it doesnt pop off anywere before i put my bumper back on and then have to take it off when an icp falls off
any suggestions?
any suggestions?
all fmic kits that I know of come with lipped intercooler piping. I believe the factory piping has it as well. do you already have the front end back together? if not, you might be able to do this yourself if you have a wire feed welder and a steady hand.
naw been driving with the bumper off i need to make sure it isnt goinganywere first. dont have a welder so ill try to take it to an exhaust shop and see what they can do.
I think Lazer is refereing to T-bolt clamps, you can find them here:
