Default intercooler piping stay on!

i just hooked up my frontmount and it seems like no matter how hard i tighten the hose clamps the intercooler piping wont stay on at max boost wich is around 17-18. i had the piping bent and put it together myself and it fits great but its not enough to withstand the boost. i was thinking maybe some sort of adhesive just to make sure it doesnt pop off anywere before i put my bumper back on and then have to take it off when an icp falls off
any suggestions?

have some lips welded onto your pipes. that'll stop the clamps from slipping off under boost.

all fmic kits that I know of come with lipped intercooler piping. I believe the factory piping has it as well. do you already have the front end back together? if not, you might be able to do this yourself if you have a wire feed welder and a steady hand.

I think Lazer is refereing to T-bolt clamps, you can find them here:
