Default Intercooler and Spark plugs Q

I just upgraded my early 99 A4 1.8T to a KO4 and an Unitronic chip. Is it necesary to upgrade to a front mounted intercooler, and what kind of spark plugs should I run?

an upgraded ic is need when you are chipped, more so if you add a larger turbo. You can just get a upgraded smic from tyrolsport here.

Spark Plugs
.028" gap:

NGK BKR7E

Autolite 3922

Denso Iridium IK22

any of those three will do.

with a chip you should go one heat range colder, but dont have to. just make sure the gap is at .028.Your n75 is fine.

they are all brown you can check the part number and see what you have the H is better on the 99.5 and newer and the J is better on the later cars
