Can anyone tell me how many and what types of bulbs are used in the interior?

My A4 is in the shop, but I am looking to buy some interior replacement bulbs from www.visionbulbs.com to install when I get it back.

I need to know the interior lights (such as dome light, glove box, trunk, etc)

If anyone can help me, I would appreciate it.

 

Hey A4maniac. Welcome to the forums. Hope you like it here. As for the bulb question, Audi doesn't list bulb numbers in the manual, so the best way to find out what it takes is to goto an Autozone or something and look the bulbs up in their catalog. It'll have bulb descriptions by year and model. HTH

 

Do you happen to know how many lights are located in the car?

For example, how many light are int he front dome/map?

I can't recall, but is there a light in the rear, or on the side of the rear (reading lights)?

Also, how many lights are in the trunk?

Are there lights under the dash (by your feet) or on the doors?

Is there a light in the glove box?

My car isn't here, and I can't remember at all where the lights are. If you refresh my memory as to the number of lights, and where they are, I will get the bulb codes.

Two in the dome up front, one in the mirror over the drivers side. Two on the floor by your feet, two in the back seat area, and as for the trunk, I've got an Avant. Mine has one in the hatch area too. I think that's it. There may two more in the dome light, I've never taken it apart.

 

I got three in my dome but I also have a sun roof maybe thats the difference

 

Going to get a "Xenon" interior? Hope you don't melt your car.

 

If you get good quality lights, you don't have to worry about melting.

Do you also have lights by your feet or on the door?

How about over the vanity mirror, where are those lights?

Anyhting in the rear?

 

yeah the two reading lamps in the back of the car ...not to sure about the foot area as I have red leds down there

 

Can anyone confirm. The A4 has the following interior lights:

2 Front Dome
2 Vanity Mirror
2 Under-dash Courtesy
2 Rear Reading
1 Trunk

If anyone can confirm, I would really appreciate it.
