Just bough a Used Audi A4 - Problem!
Hello all,
I just purchased a used Audi A4 after years of dreaming of owning an audi. Yesterday when i drove it off the lot everything seemed fine until i got closer to home. When i got close to home and I brake the car starts to shake in the rear (only around 5-15 mph). Since im not very knowledgeable about cars in general i am stumped to what can be causing this problem.
Like i said im not an expert but I believe it could be a warped rotor or breaks in the rear. Please let me know what it could be. Im taking it by the Audi dealer to have it looked at but I dont want to get raped in the process (figuratively speaking).
Thanks for the help

With such low speed (5-15 mph ) it could be a lose part or suspension - quick check go to the back of the car and with both hands press to make the car bounce and see if you hear any rattling - remember to check both sides. If this doesn't help - take it back and let them know the breaks are acting up and that you would like them to check them. The dealer must sell you a car with working brakes.
When you get the specs for the check back ask to see the minimum spec for all the rotor in comparison to what your reading are.
