I just bought a real cherry 2.8 (see pic.) and also just bought the evoms intake for it
I was wondering if there are any other worth while mods to speak for.

 

Do a search... suspension mods or a SSK will probably yield the most smiles Just keep it maintained and you'll probably be happy with it.

 

Most people here are going to tell you that there isn't much you can do to a 2.8 and that if your looking to upgrade that you should have gotten a 1.8t. For the most part they are right. but there is still plenty to be done all you need is to be a little creative. shoulda went 1.8T dude. I just got my 1.8T had it for little over a month. a huge step from my 2.8L. My god was it slow.

The most a 2.8L can get is... A Chip,Intake & suspension. Unless you wanna fork out 5grand for a supercharger kit.


Im sure itll be fun to drive. keep it for a year. Then sell it and get a turbo.

It should be a great car for you if its been maintained well, and contiue to be. There is no supercharger for the 12v 2.8, or chip that im aware of.

 

How many miles on it? Make sure the timing belt, tensioners and water pump have been replaced if it's over 70,000 miles.

 

as for cosmetic mods, get some 1 pc headlamps

 

The car looks good but that's about as far as it goes. Trying to mod a 12v is just dumb, there are soooo many better motors in the audi family.....
