well i just got the car tuesday and now im lookin for a front mount intercooler kit with a cold air intake for the
turbo......not to metion this is my first audi and turbo'ed at that any ideas????

 

are u gonna upgrade the turbo
if not i dont think you should get a FMIC yet
and the cold air intakes arent that great they just suck in hot engine bay air

theres alot of parts for the lil 1.8t
maybe you should start off wit a performace chip and upgrade the DV
look in to giac and apr

 

There's not much in the way of cold air for this car since Audi did a good job on the intake to begin with. You might want to hold off on a FMIC until you are running a larger turbo setup. Anything larger than the stock intercooler would probably rob you of power. I'm no expert on this though, I'm just regurgitating what others have said.

The most common first performance mods are a chip (REVO, APR, GIAC) and cat back exhaust.

i hate audis shifters and luxary suspention get it droped n dailed with those most fun than going strait too take turns fast congrats on the car man

 

i was gonna get the fmic first than get the t3/t4 hybrid...unless theres domething better????im lookin for like 250-300whp
a chip, lowering kit, waste gate, and other mods are gonna come soon....just need web sites to look these parts up in
