Hey all just bought a K04 and am thinking of running it on my chipped K03s (K03s not the normal K03) software for a few months while i save for a ic and FPR and manifold. Is this ok i know it will not be much faster but will it run ok? Anyone have any suggestions and tips on this?

It will run fine. Hopefully you have upgraded the DV.

 

get the APR intercooler. by far the best IC you can buy. better than everybody elses

 

wut K03 program do u have becasue some companys give a discount on K04 programs when u have there k03 program

 

I have a Star performance remap a tuning company in Scotland. I will see if he gives me a discount i doubt it tho!!

did u even have any APR stuff on your old A4 dave

 

i think apr has way to much pipe routing causin a bigger pressure drop than other intercoolers but, not by much. it also looks more restrictive. this intercooler is the one that has both pipes on one side right?

I will just run my car on the chip till i get a fmic and a better flowing manifold. I am thinking about the kinetic one but it seems very cheap??

The fmic i will probably get will be the spp one solong as it can fit bhind the stock bumper.

Then correct me if i am wrong but i will need to uprate either my injectors OR the FPR?
If this is right then i will probably upgrade the FPR inorder to keep my DIS more accurate.

Is this everything i will need?
