The first time is kind of a pita.. Just dont be affraid to get physical with it.. APR's snub instructions on how to get it off are pretty good to follow.

I have an 01 as well. Mine has 35K on it. So you need to take off the front bumper to change it? Oh my. What is a QM?

wow, very much good luck. My car is still in pieces from the timing belt job that I tried to do over the weekend. Apparently the instructions for the 1.8T don't carry over very far into our engines - but everyone here will say that it is easy. I will help with whatever I can...I replaced my cam and crank seals as well, so I had to get even deeper into the belly of the beast. Now I'm just waiting for a torque wrench to get everything put back together...I heard it was important??

Anyway, keep us posted...the bumper reallly isn't hard at all.
