lol, the snub mount thing is hilarious....sounds like it went pretty smooth though overall...the ps fluid problem is strange, maybe one of the ps lines got pulled/pinched/punctured when you pulled the front end into the service position? have you checked the lines yet? does it hold fluid when you refill it?

i'd imagine that the lightweight balancer makes a pretty decent difference... that thing is quite heavy for its size... and the timing belt deff isnt that hard... as long as you dont do what i did and pull the pin on the tensioner before you were sure that was the thing to do. also you are supposed to retard your timing one tooth because when you start the car for the first time it jumps a tooth on the cam pulley...

Well for me never attempting anything like that on my car...it was definately nice to have help

I know if I had to do it again it wouldnt be as hard at all

As for retarding one tooth ..I dont believe we did that and everything is perfect

Lovin the lightweight crank for those non believers..Def a upgrade I recommend while your in there

You feel the power with added mods like chip and exhaust alot esp top end

=)

retarding it a tooth is just plain retarded. maybe if your not an experinced mechanic and cant manage to get all the slack on the tensioner side when you put it on this might be something that will work but is just plain retarded in my book.... please dont give such ill advise on the forums, i would hate to see someone wreck there engine over some bad advice.

Now you have me questioning whether I should get the lightweight crank pulley... argh! I just wouldn't imagine it would make a noticable difference... Hmmm!

lol, ya ive never heard of anyone cookin a snub before this as well, i think we would have been good with like 10 secs in the microwave just to kind of get it heated a little bit to make it easier to slip on, the minute was waaay to much time, just goes to show you what kind of distraction beer can cause.
