just got chipped
Well I had some free time today for the first time in a while, and decided to install my new 710n DV. Afterwards I went down to the local tuner to have the GIAC chip installed. I was a little dissapointed because they charged me a half hour labor ($45), and after tax it came out to $580. Also while driving home, it seemed to kick in hard in 1st from about 2800 to 3800 rpm's, but 1st and second gear was pretty much the only time I noticed a difference. Maybe I just got worked up to much by reading all the hype, or maybe something's wrong, I just thought I would see more gains.

thats the first I've heard of someone not too happy with the chip, let me know what you find because I was going to get the chip next week from Giac but I want some gains so maybe I need to go with the Apr chip
This summer i will be doing a k04/giac swap in my car from what i have heard this is one of the best turbo upgrades for reliability reasons. They say about 75-80 hp gain i can't wait. Maybe look into a different dv.
