thanks everyone! but is it normal that when my car is idling.. the rpm jumps up and down a little..
when i first start up my car that is.. i wasn't sure if it was b/c of the turbo. it is my first time
having a turbo car so i don't know if i should be worried about this?
when the rpm goes up and down my music also becomes quieter and louder
any ideas?

oh and the bimmer hit someone else's car.. bimmer owners.. tsk tsk.. hahah no i'm jp but his
girl was driving and hit a parked car..

 

I think the volume changes has to do with the "GALA" ,don't know what it means, feature on the radio. Its supposed to be speed sensitive, so the faster you drive the higher volume. Maybe its different on the B6 but on the b5 its not affected by rpm changes, just speed. Check out your manual for more detail. Nice ride by the way.
