Left side wheel bearing

Right side tie rod
antifreeze
engine cover under the engine fix
all parts are original OEM from the audi dealer
all with total at my Indi came out to 1,000$
i think i did ok but that still alotta money
i just dont have to worry bout the damn timing belt popping and the damn noise in the back wheel which i thought was a bent rim
im happy now all i need is the RS4 grille

Well it would have been a good deal but the tensioner NEEDS to be changed. If you look at past tb failures on these cars it is very rare that the belt breaks. Its the tensioner that brakes and i dont think you can visibly check to see if is ok. I would take it back and tell them it MUST be changed
damn, if you requested, or at least suggested, that they change the tensioner, and they told you it wasn't necessary, then i would go back there, pissed, and talk to the owner of the shop. like tom said, the tensioner is basically more important than the belt itself...and while they're down there changing the tensioner out you may also want to replace your snub mount
