I just hit 100K on my 02 A4, and im planning on replacing few things. I need to change the timing belt (and the whole package that goes with it, water pump ect.) since i have not done it yet....dont yell at me i know i should had it done long *** time ago. Anyways just want some more input on what else should i change just to keep my baby alive and running smooth. Thanx for your input.

 

Do all the fluids and change your 02 sensor even if you dont have a CEL from it. They get real lazy by 100k miles. I just did mine at 91k and I know I regained some power/responsiveness/smoothness/mpg.

 

Hey what brand trans and diff fluids did you use? I'm considering getting all that done before the winter.

 

use either mobil-1 75w90 orredline mt-90

 

Im front trak so I didnt change diff fluids. But for tip you should use pentosin fluid. www.purems.com has it the cheapest I think.

You already have the timing belt kit? If you order it today, you might get it on the weekend.
