I guess it looks okay, but not even close to a big brake kit in appearance.
Its sort of rice in that it is a Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancement - not the real thing, but looks like it.

Actually it's not cool....it gets pretty hot down there!
Black might be OK on the stock calipers if you do a good job and use appropriate paint or powder coat it.
$2K vs $10 high temp paint? OK if $ is no object.

waste of time/money IMO. You are basically imitating a big brake kit.. Seriously, whats the point in painting stock callipers?? If you feel like you need to paint something, do your lowers.

Regarding the lowers, some people like it that way and I'll wait until I have the $ to have a shop spray them when they do some other bodywork for me.
Depending on what color you have, you dont need to have the hundreds of dollars that a paint shop would charge you to get the lowers done. Most colors can be matched pretty easily with the right spray paint, and the supplies you need for prep work isnt that much... But anyway.. What does painted stock callipers accomplish??? The time and money it takes to get them done the right way just doesnt seem cost effective for what is being done... Im having a hard time grasping the coolness factor in it.. But again thats just MO.
