Dropped in a 710N a few weeks ago and finally got around to putting a chip into my 2000 1.8tQ tip. It is a totally different beast.

HOw do you like that APR chip? right now im using GIAC's most powerful program. you guys have a name for it I dont. Is the power smooth?

 

It is hard to know as I don't have anything to compare it to except stock. Power comes on smoothly but is a bit peaky around 3K. Pulls nicely throughout. Was coming back on I78 from Lebanon PA where I had it installed. Great passing power at 90 mph going up hill.

Nice, small shop. Much smaller operation than AWE and could get me in on a moments notice.

I'd recommend them.

Had at least 4 VW in various states of race readiness when I wandered through.

 

Yeah, there just a dealer. Awe is much different. They are very knowledgable and they have some fast project cars.

No, but Mapquest does.

Other nice deal about APT tuning is that they are open on saturday. I didn't relish the idea of taking a day off work during the week to have it done.
