just wondering if anyone else had this too..i put in the giac ecu and when i turn the car on it struggles to idle for a few seconds before idling, and when i stop it does it abit too..will this go away, or is it something with the ecu. i bought the ecu already chipped seperately, so i still have my stock one if need be.

 

Have you done a throttle body alignment? Please search the forums if you don't know how to do it.

 

yea sounds like u need a tba, turn the key foward with out starting the car. let it sit untill u hear the hi pitch noise go away

 

Mine did that for a little while after i got mine chipped but it cleared up shortly after driving it a while

 

i did the whole undo the battery for ten minutes..then turned the ignition key to on, after i hooked battery back up, for 5 minutes and it still idles funny...if it goes away while driving then no biggie..i just dont want the car to die while im driving on the freeway or at a stop light..

 

I dont think its gunna die mine idled funny for a few days and had a little stuttering at random rpm's but it cleared up and runs like a champ now and i have only had the chip like 2 weeks

 

Car needs a day for adjustment for the new chip... So ive heard.

 

ive heard the same...so far though nice increase...

 

i doubt this is it but i had that when my battery was on its way out...

 

clean your throttle body.
