those chips off of ebay work amazing for the 2.8 Q. and also while your on ebays website invest into one of those fuel saving intake things. the ones that make it like a tornado in your intake. na for real though, 2.8's can be chipped but there is absolutely no gains from them from what i have heard from people who have had their 2.8s chipped.it adjusts the powerband a little and give a lil better throttle response but nothing in the hp tq area. if you want do a cone intake mod and make a decent heat shield. then onto exhaust, then suspension, and cosmetics. if you want any real modability sell your 2.8 and get a 1.8. but the 2.8s are nice cruising lil higher luxury classes cars. they offer the real leather which is always nice.

Looks good! Nothing wrong with a stock A4. They look great right from the factory

before any bashing begins, i know my car is stock, but just thought id post up a pic of the freshness, although it is a cellphone shot. im anxious to start the endless road of modding, but tuition has slowed me down. im thinking the first thing i get will be tint? any thoughts? comments appreciated. btw its a 99 2.8q manual

i have heard of many people that are happy with chips on their 2.8. my question was, what is the brand everyone uses for a b5 2.8? (revo, giac, neuspeed...??) oh and i dont think i could never sell my 2.8 and give up reliability for a 1.8 with modability
